ZEITAKU BINBOU’s MEAT SAUCE PROJECT

In only five years from their formation, the company ZEITAKU BINBOU was introduced in the “GEIGEKI eyes” series, with the youngest director in its history, where Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre picks up the young talented artists, and their China tour finished in a great success.
This rising theater company will hold residency with dancers and actors, in order to establish their own home-made (company’s) meat sauce (style method), that can not only be used for the main dish (the work) but also used for the variety of other dishes (the other works) and conserved for a long period (as a repertory).
Each of the three roles, playwright, director and performer, that the leader Yuri Yamada had always taken will be re-studied to capture their essence. In addition, the dancer Koto Takei will join to help approaching to the physical aspects like rhythms, intensity or breathing.
A short experimental piece will be created.
