KIAC

A residency to create a new dance performance by Brazilian choreographers and dancers Beatriz Sano, Júlia Rocha and Isabel Ramos Monteiro alongside the filmmaker Paula Ramos with artistic collaborators: Hideki Matsuka, Éden Peretta and Roberta Mendes. They will create an experimental situation by combining movements born from the exploration of the action of “walking” with video images of the surrounding environment, stage design that mixes nature and artifacts. At the end of their two-week residency, the artists will share their work-in-progress in an open rehearsal, follower by an artist talk after the performance.
