A Thai dance workshop will be held by Kornkarn Rungsawang, a new generation of choreographer whose aim is to bridge the traditional and contemporary.

Rungsawang is a dance artist trained in diverse Thai traditions, from royal court to popular folk forms, and applies her knowledge and skills to the contemporary body and life in pursuit of new dance expression.
In 2023, she developed her new work “Mali Bucha: Dance Offering” at Kinosaki International Arts Center, which will be presented as the director's program of the Toyooka Theater Festival 2024 this September.
The purpose of this workshop is to learn the basics of Thai dance, which is Rungsawang's background as an artist, so that participants can enjoy her new work more.
Experience in dance or performing arts is NOT necessary.
We are welcoming your participation!
